Have you read Brad Young's, Paul the Jewish Theologian?  It might answer some of your questions, and is often the book I recommend to people the most.  Ron Moseley's, &lt;a href="http://www.haydid.org/spiritta.htm"&gt;The Spirit of the Law&lt;/a&gt;, also says much in this area and has an online version.  It takes a few reads though, as he packed too much information in such a small space.  Both were my professors.

I think NT Wright also wrote a good book about Paul, though I've only read a bit of it, and I'm not sure how much focus is on Paul's view of Torah.</description>
