lost at catalyst

LostI’m off early in the morning to the Catalyst Conference with Dean and Josh. I’m hoping to blog some thoughts from the conference for my future thoughts and for the benefit of those who aren’t able to be there.

Not that I’m not looking forward to the conference, but at this point, I think I’m most excited about watching the season premiere of Lost in our hotel room. It’s the best show on TV with the lamest opening title, and we’re just a little hooked. (Better yet, we might need to head out to the most deep south small town bar we can find to watch it. The season premiere of Survivor came while we were on a staff retreat, so we watched it in a tavern in backwoods, Washington — words can’t describe… I tried to post a picture on the moblog, but it just turned out as a neon haze.)

On an entire unrelated note…I had a maple macchiato this morning. Good job Starbucks.

    Catalyst…yada yada yada…Atlanta…yada yada yada…LOST!!!

Can I just shamelessly say that I can hardly sleep thinking about watching the season premiere tomorrow! I have never been one to latch onto a TV show. I liked Cheers & LA Law in college, but never made time to watch them. I catch Seinfeld whenever I can. I like CSI, but have never recorded it. Survivor was the first show I really wanted to watch, but have missed entire seasons of it. Lost is a drug!

I hope the signal gets LOST, and your hearts will be directed towards what you are really there for. LOL, man I am funny. What is really sad is that a show about people stranded on an island could overtake the airwaves. What’s next? A show where some tourists get marooned on an island, and every episode is full of their zany ideas of how to get off, only to be ruined by some crazy shipmate. If it comes to that, I am through with TV.
