This is good. Jones was a real leader in contextualization and indigenous ministry. He drew fire from conservatives and liberals. Conservatives didn’t like him because he jettisoned the Old Testament. Some would argue he was Christ-centered to a fault. Liberals didn’t like him because he insisted on Christ being central to the Church.
Liberals and Conservatives rage today. Where does Christianity need strengthening in the States in order to recover redemptive power and cultural influence?
